Sav Ackerman �鶹��ý�25 has always had a strong work ethic. Born into an abusive and impoverished upbringing, both of Sav�鶹��ý�s parents passed away by the time Sav was 15 years old. �鶹��ý�There were many hard days growing up,�鶹��ý� shared Sav. �鶹��ý�Prior to passing away, my mother was a single parent and worked full-time while going to school for nursing. I started working to support myself from the time I was 15 and continued to work throughout law school.�鶹��ý�

Daronco Distinguished Service Award by the Columbian Lawyers Association of Westchester County at the organization�鶹��ý�s annual dinner on June 13, 2025. The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹��ý is pleased to announce that Michael Hamersky has been appointed to serve as the Executive Director of the Pace Energy and Climate Center. In addition to leading the Center, he will teach Natural Resources Law at the Law School. Over nearly four decades, the Pace Energy and Climate Center has established itself as a national leader working at the intersection of energy and the environment.
