Andrew Coggins, a clinical professor of management at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ who studies the cruise industry, said it would be wise for cruise lines to keep their level of vaccinated travelers high. But he said it would have been difficult for cruise lines to insist on the rules while the CDC loosens its requirements on social distancing and quarantine for people who have been exposed to the virus. "It would be very difficult for them to justify that," he said.
Before accepting a financial analyst internship at American Express, Business Management student Tianna Orwig '23 wasn't sure a future in finance was for her. But thanks to required Lubin School of Business classes and on-campus opportunities offered by the Center for Student Enterprise, Tianna hit the ground running at American Express, and now, she can't imagine working anywhere else.
For many Public Accounting students, landing an internship at a Big Four firm is a dream. Lubin School of Business student Meaghan Petrie '22 turned that dream into a reality after attending a Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Services event. Now, she's planning on graduating early this December in order to kickstart her career as soon as possible.
Lubin students Angelina Bellucci and Nikol Taba Montoya are among the 17 Pace students selected for the prestigious and highly competitive United Nations Academic Impact and MCN Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Fellowship.
"Subscription-based services," says Larry Chiagouris, a professor of marketing at Âé¶¹´«Ã½, "tend to be premium priced, because they save people time. But if people don't have the money to pay for the savings in time ...They're going to do some of these things for themselves."
After graduating from Âé¶¹´«Ã½ in the spring, Public Accounting graduate Maria Savino '22 learned she passed the final part of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam. In the fall, she'll join the team at KPMG, a Big Four accounting firm.
