Attending business school in a new country can be tough, but with courage and hard work, Syed Mubasheer Ahmed '23 is making it look easy. Not only is he involved in on-campus clubs, but Syed is also taking advantage of all the resources available to studentsÂé¶¹´«Ã½”and it's his commitment to attending Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Services' events that landed him a coveted summer internship with EY.
Four students from the Lubin School of Business were selected for United Nations Academic Impact and Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Campus Network (MCN) Fellowships. They will be part of the UN's global leadership development program as they launch their own individual or group projects relating to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students will have the opportunity to connect with peers and leaders from all over the world while engaging in world-class professional development sessions.
Throughout his life, Steven Anglade '23 has made it a point to seek out quality educationÂé¶¹´«Ã½”that's why he enrolled in the Lubin School of Business' MS in Human Resources Management program. Between his desire to constantly learn new things and the knowledge he gained as a Lubin student, Steven is now successfully taking on the world of human resources at his new job as Talent Acquisition Specialist, ensuring the prospective and current employees are getting the best experience possible.
Emi Matsumae '25 is developing new skills and discovering new interests through her internship with Ann Taylor LOFT. While she is double majoring in Digital Marketing and Business Analytics, she says her summer internship has reaffirmed her interest in each industry. Next to that, Emi says this career-propelling internship wouldn't have even been possible without the Lubin School of Business and the network she developed as an on-campus student-leader.
Lubin student Samantha Nieves '24 is going above and beyond at her summer internship with Cisco. Not only does she welcome feedback from her managers, but she's also not afraid to ask questions, learn new things, and take on challenges...And she isn't just a leader at Cisco. This fall, Samantha will serve as Chief Executive Officer of Âé¶¹´«Ã½'s on-campus chapter of the American Marketing Association. Equipped with her experience from Cisco, Samantha is ready to take AMA to the next level.
Shruti Dhapodkar '23 is conquering more than just her MBA in Marketing Analytics at the Lubin School of Business. As a graduate assistant within Lubin's Office of Communications and External Relations, Shruti helped coordinate campus events, edited newsletters, and assisted in social media strategyÂé¶¹´«Ã½”and it's that real-world experience that helped her score her summer internship with NJ Transit and that led to her internship offer being extended into her final semester at Lubin.
In an effort to build a diverse portfolio of research projects with a focus on the identification and analysis of immediate issues facing nonprofits, NGOs, and social enterprises, the Helene T. and Grant M. Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship invites Âé¶¹´«Ã½ faculty to apply for appointments as 2023Âé¶¹´«Ã½“2024 Wilson Center Fellows.
Arts and Entertainment Management student Angelina Johnson '24 is pursuing her dreams. During her freshman year, she set her eyes on Nike Communications, a female-founded communications firm that markets luxury brands. As a rising senior, Angelina is now working with Nike Communications as a Luxury PR InternÂé¶¹´«Ã½”learning the ropes of the industry, networking with fellow interns and company leaders, and connecting public figures with prestigious brands.

If you are a dedicated traveler and pay close attention to your benefits, you can easily get the value of your annual fee for an American Express Platinum card. For instance, you get: 1) $200 Uber credit; 2) $240 in digital entertainment credit; 3) $200 in hotel credit; and 4) $200 in airline credit fees. Plus, if you apply for TSA or Global Entry, American Express will reimburse you in full. Then, you also have a Priority Pass to clubs in the airports, or you can use your Platinum card for access.
As a retail marketing intern with the renowned commercial real estate firm Newmark, Shivani Thali '24 is getting a taste of what it means to creatively capture and market some of New York City's finest buildings. Upon graduating with their MS in Social Media and Mobile Marketing, Shivani will be ready to successfully market themself to potential employers in a competitive industry.
